I had an email today that got me thinking…
A visitor to this site said that there were loads of good opportunities listed here, that seem to be genuine and workable (they are!) but for a total newcomer to this online world could I put together in one of my posts a simple step by step guide to getting an income growing online. What should people do to start off with, what comes first, then what follows it in a logical order to get an income building up as quickly as possible.
Well, most of the opportunities that I list here are fairly straight forward in themselves, and I know that they all work from personal experience – I make money from them, but he did have a good point. A simple step by step guide from a standing start for a total newcomer would be a useful resource.
And so I decided that I will act on this request. I will not post the instructions on a page of this blog though, because it would soon get swallowed up and lost among my other posts, BUT I will create a guide and save it in PDF format. That way I can give it away from a link on the front page of this website and it will always be there for all visitors to see and download if they wish.
I will make a start on this and have it available for everyone soon. And of course it will be FREE to all visitors of this site.

There are few things that surprise me online these days. As a bit of an ‘old hand’ when it comes to the net, having been online since the dawn of time itself, I have seen just about everything there is to see when it comes to online marketing … or so I thought.
Now I use systems as promoted on here such as google sniper,and the the affiliate code and they all include information on getting that free targetted traffic to your website. In fact they are all very good at getting free targetted traffic to your website. But then I found something that blew me away…
I use article marketing as part of my promotional work for my websites, you may have seen the ‘expert author’ logo on the ‘about’ page of this website, and the article marketing does bring in visitors. Each article I write (or copy from a post on this blog!) is usually good for around 50 targetted visitors to this site or to one of my others. But the process of writing an article and then submitting it to the article directories can be a long and labourious task. Don’t get me wrong, it is still better than ‘working’ for a living but still it does take up a lot of time that I could happily spend doing something else.
So when I was offered a piece of software that would take one article then change certain words and phrases in that article to create HUNDREDS of other unique articles AND THEN SUBMIT THEM AUTOMATICALLY to the article directories I just about ripped their hand off!
Now instead of writing dozens of articles about each of the different subjects covered by the many websites that I run, I can just write ONE of each and then let the software change them and submit them for me. The result? I have THOUSANDS of unique articles live online, being harvested by other people to post on their websites (with my links on all of them!) and also being picked up by google and other search engines to feed the searches made by potential customers.
The result? An almost instantaneous EXPLOSION in the visitor numbers to my websites and a BIG jump in the number of sales being made from them. And even better as far as I was concerned, the cost of the software was covered by the sales commission made on the very first day that the articles went live on the directories – about a week after being submitted.
So whatever online business you run, or intend to run, you should seriously consider getting this software. This will drive LOTS of targetted traffic towards your website, whatever sort of website you happen to have. This is traffic madness, mass targetted traffic means a whole load potential customers streaming to your website. So get your share today.

And some people make nothing at all?
Well, let me tell you something for nothing. It has NOTHING AT ALL to do with luck.
Some people were ‘born to lose’ so to speak. Online they will spend their money on an opportunity sent to them by some clever marketer then make no money from it. Then they will go and spend some more money on another opportunity sent to them by some clever marketer and make no money from it. Then they will go on and on and continue this circle of waste and failure until eventually giving up and keeping to their ‘real job’.
Then there are other people who do make money. People who make ridiculous amounts of money every single day, every week, every month and every year.
Now I don’t count myself in the ‘ridiculous income’ bracket just yet , but I have made over $150,000 online so far this year so I am going in the right direction.
But what makes some people so successful? What seperates them from the people who never make a dime?
Well the answer is more simple than you would ever imagine.
They are not exceedingly lucky, and they will not have answered an ad or email offer promising them millions of dollars before breakfast if they would only send someone their money right away (the typical get rich quick promise).
What most of them have in common is a simple grasp of the basics of business and the will and belief to stick at what they are doing. And that is not difficult, believe me. It beats the hell out of doing a ‘proper’ job to make money.
With online businesses you MUST remember that there is no ‘magic’ or ‘secret formula’ that will make everyone online rich.
Yes, there are plenty of people telling you that there are and that they will tell you how to do it if you send them $50 or so. But guess what? They don’t work. It just isn’t possible. The internet is a brilliant communication tool but at the end of the day a business is a business. For someone to make money someone else has to spend it. Period.
So how do you get yourself up into the ranks of the earners instead of the spenders?
COPY WHAT THEY DO!
Stop spending on multiple opportunities that don’t make you any money, stop wasting time reading the emails and scam websites offering to make you rich overnight, and concentrate your time and effort on something that REALLY works.
Easier said than done? – Not necessarily.
Within the pages of this blog I have recommended certain opportunities. I recommended them because I use them and know that they DO work. All you have to do is choose the one that you think suits you best, that does the sort of thing that you want to do, and then follow the instructions to the letter. Stick at it and don’t be distracted by the numerous offers you will still no-doubt receive by email, and concentrate on building up your income slowly but surely, month by month, until you can afford to live on your online income full time.
When you can be disciplined enough to to this, YOU will become one of the earners instead of just one of the spenders in this massive online marketplace.
Now that you understand what you need to do, go and find something that you will be happy to concentrate your efforts on.

Whether this will take off or not is still to be seen, but this is a new social and business network that promises to be a whole lot more.
IF this works as it is planned by the organisers, it could be one of the biggest things to ever hit the net so much to offer for online businesses and individuals alike.
The most important thing for an online entrepreneur at the moment, is that it is FREE to join and you are also allocated FREE shares in the company both for joining and for introducing other FREE members.
So, at the end of the day what is there to lose? You may as well join up and just see what happens. They already have over half a million members.

When it comes to making money online from a website it helps if your site is more than just a couple of static pages with an offer on them.
Sure, for certain types of sales that I have covered previously the static pages are ideal, BUT there is so much more that you can do with a website.
Have you considered:
